Should you find yourself in Manhattan this weekend, there are, as usual, plenty of Brooklyn artists to keep you company. For example, DUMBO-based Amy Talluto has a show of oil paintings at P.S. 122 on the Lower East Side through Nov. 5, and Boerum Hill’s Chris Piazza has a mixed media exhibit at Tria Gallery in Chelsea through Nov. 11.
SUZANNE MCCOY, a 30-plus year resident of Brooklyn, is producing a musical event at The Rock Theatre in Midtown Saturday night for up-and-coming artists. Called EMERGE, the concert will feature a dozen acts, including Brooklyn performers Janice Brown and Yanelle.
