Home to our borough’s last forest and only freshwater lake, Prospect Park would not be the urban emerald it is without its dedicated volunteers. On Saturday, volunteers gathered at the Park’s Lake to participate in the annual INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEAN-UP DAY. Their work helped preserve a crucial wildlife habitat for hundreds of aquatic species.
This summer, Director of Volunteers CAROL ANASTASIO welcomed two new members to her staff at Prospect Park: Project Coordinator TIFFANY IRIZARRY and Assistant Project Coordinator COLIN WEATHERBY.
