Kicking off the Club’s fall season, the author and columnist will give a lecture titled “The Chicken versus the Eagle: How Brooklyn Struck the Decisive Blow for Free Enterprise During the New Deal.” It is taken from her upcoming history of the Great Depression.
A mother to four children, she is the author of The Greedy Hand and a columnist at Bloomberg News. Her husband is Brooklyn native Seth Lipsky, president and editor in chief of the New York Sun.
