KATHY MALONE, the coordinator of the Brooklyn Indie Market, reports that last weekend’s Design Fair in Cobble Hill Park was a big success. (Who knew that Cobble Hill was getting a reputation as Brooklyn’s Fashion District?) The outdoor, one-day event featured original designs in apparel, handbags, jewelry, home goods and more from 20 local, emerging designers. Malone told the Eagle that 90 percent of the participants hail from our borough.
