Seen recently at the Clark Street Subway: HBO series “The Wire” star JOHN DOMAN. A resident of the Heights for over 25 years, Doman was an advertising executive for two decades before making the switch to acting full time. He admitted to having some anxious moments when he left the ad business for good in 1991: “I would wake up in the middle of the night thinking, ‘what have I done?’”
But at the same time, acting made him feel at ease. “I was comfortable right from the beginning,” he told the Eagle. “I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.”
His next movie, the crime drama Lonely Hearts, is expected to be released this year. It stars John Travolta, Salma Hayek, James Gandolfini and Jared Leto.
