D’EMIC and the Brooklyn Mental Health Court were featured on page one of the Wall Street Journal on Monday, Aug. 21. The article provided a reasonably in-depth description of how the court functions. Reporter Gary Fields noted that the judge uses “a mixture of humor and schoolmaster sternness” to urge defendants comply with their mandatory treatment programs.
