Friends and supporters of POLY PREP are thrilled to mingle with the likes of Art Garfunkel, Meryl Streep and Steve Schirripa during the school’s annual September 11 Memorial Scholarship fundraiser tonight at Cipriani on 42nd Street. Though a festive event, it is also a solemn one: Poly Prep Country Day School students will be presented with scholarships honoring the memory of the 11 individuals from the Poly community who lost their lives on September 11.
The Paul Taylor Dance Company will perform, and the benefit will honor alumnus STEWART RAHR, ’63, an active philanthropist and president and CEO of Kinray, Inc.
